Steelesview Public School

Spirit and Success is our school motto.

Steelesview School provides a dynamic, positive, and productive environment for all students. It is an open area concept school in which staff work collaboratively to plan and deliver classroom programs so that all students can achieve success.  There is a close and co-operative partnership between the school and the community that results in additional support, enhanced resources, and programs for students.

With the implementation of the Full Day Kindergarten, Steelesview P.S. has opened a before and after school  childcare program, which is run by PLASP Child Care Services.  For more information, please contact our Community Hub Supervisor, at 416-484-4372 or visit their website at https://www.plasp.com

At Steelesview we believe that:
*a safe, welcoming and supportive environment encourages maximum student achievement
*each student is an individual with his or her own strengths, interests, needs and learning style which is reflected in the programming
*students from all cultures enrich our school community
*effective programs are delivered best when teachers, parents and students communicate and work together on a regular basis
Our school also offers the International Languages Elementary Program. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to learn additional languages, other than English and French, and to learn about and appreciate other traditions, customs and cultures.
